One of the many things we missed during lockdown is being able to go to out to museums or visit the zoo. Well i know its not quite the same but you can still visit your favourite places virtually. British Museum

The British Museum is the world’s largest indoor space on Google Street View. You can go on a virtual visit to more than 60 galleries. See highlights like the Rosetta Stone in the Egyptian Sculpture Gallery or discover gems like the beautiful textiles in the Sainsbury African Galleries. The museum is also part of googles museum of the
world project where you can find a timeline of artefacts to explore.

London Zoo

While London Zoo is closed they have been adding a lot of videos to there website and youtube channels. They have many webcams setup so you can watch the animals live. They also have daily video updates from there keepers on their website.

Windsor Castle

The queen maybe living there at the moment however this doesn’t stop you having a look round the oldest occupied castle in the world. They have created a fantastic virtual tour you can get the see the castle in all its splendour. Visit the banquet room and even have a look round the gardens.

Stonehenge

One of the UK biggest Mysteries, Stonehenge is one of the UK top tourist attractions and now you can visit them even during lockdown. The Fantastic people at english heritage have created a informative and fun interactive virtual tour page. Explore the rocks them selfs or star gaze with the interactive Skyscape project on there site.
