Day’s Out – DreamWorks Tours Shrek’s Adventure London

In January, we were in London and visited the New DreamWorks Tours – Shrek’s Adventure London Experience located at City Hall near the London Eye. What follows is our review of the attraction.

From the moment, you walk in the door your immersed in the world of Shrek. Once your passed all the normal security checks that are common place in London attractions. Its on to the first photo point. This green screen area is made fun by a very animated host. Then it off to go on your adventure as not to spoil it we not going to give much detail. However, let’s say it’s very interactive all the way around. With cast member interacting with your group the whole way. Oscar was in his element as they kept asking him to do stuff from pushing buttons to asking for items to take to the next scene.

Cameras and phones are not allowed to be turned on while inside the cast guided area of the attraction which takes about an hour to walk around. However as soon as your completed your mission there’s an opportunity to have a photo with Shrek, which Oscar loved. The last part of the tour is an area where you can interact with other characters from the DreamWorks animation world. So, if you ever wanted your photo with Alex from Madagascar or try to do some Kung Fu with Kung Fu Panda. This last part will be for you.

As you leave this area you then could buy the photobook souvenir of your trip. We felt it was reasonably priced as you also got a digital copy of the photos.

Over all it was a fun experience that our son enjoyed. If you asked us would we go again it would be a YES!!!.
